Sophia Angelwing Begonia is an upright tropical perennial with semi-woody canes sporting large dark green wing-shaped foliage spotted with silver and ruby undersides. Its pendulous clusters of baby pink flowers from late spring into fall. Flowers best in part shade and rich, moist well-drained soils.
May also be sold as 'Sophia Cecile'.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance. Let soils dry between watering- wet soils can lead to root rot. Susceptible to powdery mildew, stem rot, and botrytis, especially in humid areas without air circulation. Possible pests include whitefly, mites, thrips, and mealybugs.
