MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Medium maintenance. Camellias require regular watering, especially during dry periods, but does not tolerate waterlogged soil. Pruning after flowering can help maintain a tidy shape. While generally disease-resistant, it can be susceptible to pests such as scale and aphids, and diseases like root rot and camellia petal blight.
