Red Acre Cabbage is a cool season annual with purple veined blue-green basal foliage and a short core with a dense burgundy crown that is usually ready for harvest after 75 days. The sweet and delicate taste and crisp texture makes it good fresh or for shredding. Best if grown in rich, consistently moist well-drained loamy soils. Red Acre is resistant to splitting and cabbage yellows, and stores better most early cabbage varieties.
