Blood, Sweat, and Tears Daylily is a semi-evergreen perennial with strap-like deep green foliage. The massive raspberry red flowers with a broad rosy pink eye, yellow throat, and thin white margins on the petals that blooms in early summer. The flowers attract butterflies and pollinators. Best bloom in deep and rich well-drained soils. Drought and salt tolerant once established.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance. Relatively pest free, but watch for mites, aphids, and thrips. Daylily Rust can be problematic in some areas. Divide every 3-4 years in fall or spring.
