Tarheel Blue Japanese Cedar is a large slow-growing conifer shrub with a pyramidal habit and tiered horizontal branching with slightly pendulous tips. The dense, soft needles emerge blue green and turn plum in winter, or bronze in cold winters. Prefers full sun and slightly acidic, moist, well-drained soil.
