Linebacker Distylium is a dense evergreen shrub with an upright rounded habit that makes an excellent hedge. Its glossy foliage emerges red and matures to lustrous dark green. The small red flowers bloom on arching stems in winter and early spring attracting butterflies and pollinators. Grows best in full sun and slightly acidic, moist well-drained soil.
