China Pearl Peach is a semi-dwarf deciduous tree with a narrow crown primarily grown for its heavy crop of large freestone mid-late season fruit. A beautiful show of fragrant pink flowers bloom in late spring. The red blushed gold skin fruits have firm, white melting flesh with a sweet taste for harvest in July. Grows best in full sun and rich, moist well-drained soils. China Pearl is a self pollinator with good spot resistance, a greatly improved cold tolerance, and a 900+ hours chill requirement. Can withstand sub-zero temperatures.
