Mini Maroon Barberry is a dwarf deciduous shrub valued for its tidy vibrant foliage that grows full to the ground. The small leaves emerge bright red and mature to a deep burgundy red that holds in fall. Unnoticeable tiny yellow flowers bloom in fall that gives way to small amounts of fruit. Best color in full sun and well-drained soils. Drought and deer resistant. Mini Maroon is non-invasive.
