Monrovia® Variegated Sweet Flag is a semi-evergreen perennial is known for its striking, creamy striped grass-like foliage and its tolerance for wet conditions. The leaves have a spicy-sweet fragrance when crushed. Prefers full sun and moist to wet soils, or afternoon shade if grown in hot Southern climates.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Thrives in average soils with consistent moisture, even boggy conditions and standing water. Shelter from harsh sun exposure in hot summer regions. Water regularly to maintain moisture levels; will not tolerate dry soils. For a neat appearance, remove old, faded foliage before new leaves emerge. Divide every 2 to 3 years in early spring.
