MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Water when the first inch of topsoil is dry to the touch. Fertilize with low-dose fertilizer 1-2 a month during the growing season. yellowing fronds or brown tips indicate too much sunlight, pale fronds can indicate sunlight or lack of fertilizer, and limp fronds indicate too much water of too cold.
