Denim 'N Lace Russian Sage is a compact woody perennial with fine upright aromatic green foliage. Whorls of lacy sky blue flowers with purple calyx bloom on airy pinnacles from mid summer to mid fall. Best flowering in full sun and well-drained soils. Drought tolerant once established. DO NOT eat the leaves- they are mildly toxic, however the flowers are edible and have a peppery flavor.
