Danessa Scarlet Primrose is an easy-care herbaceous perennial with a tight compact habit of deep green lettuce-like basal foliage.  Clusters of deep scarlet flowers with a bold yellow eye bloom in spring. Grows best with part sun and rich, consistently moist well-drained soils.  The Danessa series has uniform bloom times and improved heat tolerance
