Funky Monkey Hardy Eucalyptus is an unusual small evergreen tree with twisting upright branches that has semi pendular ends and attractive patched grey bark with pink inner bark. The small spicy scented foliage elongates with age and stays grey green all year. inconspicuous clusters of white summer flowers. Eucalyptus is unpicky about soils, and can even take boggy soils if planted in full sun. Funky Monkey is valued for its heat, disease, drought, and deer tolerance. Tolerates light shade.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Very Low Maintenance. Responds well to pruning to maintain size. Some susceptibility to armillaria, Gray Mold, Powdery Mildew, and Collar Rot. Potential pests include Crown Gall, Stem Galls, While Aphids, Scale Insects. Note: Eucalyptus is allelopathic and many plants will not grow under its canopy.
