Bonfire Cushion Spurge is a dramatic compact herbaceous evergreen perennial that grows in a dome shape. The fine downy foliage whorls emerges shades of lime green and yellow, darkens to burgundy red in summer and firey red in fall. The flowers are insignificant but are surrounded by yellow to chartreuse brackets in spring. Best shape in full sun and dry, well-drained soils. Good drought tolerance. Broken stems have a milky white sap that can cause significant skin irritation if allergic to latex.
