Athens Tower Distylium is an upright evergreen shrub with gracefully arching branches creating a vase-like habit. Its deep green willow-like leaves have a bluish hue and emerge light green. The small fringed red flowers bloom in thick clusters in early spring attracting butterflies and pollinators. Grows best in full sun and slightly acidic, moist well-drained soil. Tolerates drought and wet soils.
