Lunar Magic Crape Myrtle is a compact deciduous shrub with multiple upright trunks forming a rounded habit. Its elliptical leaves are a striking near-black on dark red stems. Large panicles of crisp white crepe-paper like flowers bloom throughout summer, and can be deadheaded to extend its bloom through fall. Best color in full sun and rich well-drained soil. Lunar Magic is disease resistant, and tolerates drought and poor soils.
