Southern Lace False Cypress is a fast-growing non-flowering evergreen conifer shrub with an open-branched pyramidal habit and arching branchlets. The soft, flat scale-like leaves stay a medium green and have a light scent. Its small cones are green-brown (female) or orange-brown (male) depending on gender. Prefers full sun and moist well-drained soil. Southern Lace is drought and disease resistant.
