Blue Eddy Ornamental Onion is a compact herbaceous perennial with elegant swirling blue-green to gray-green grass-like foliage. Sturdy upright stems sport large fragrant global clusters of soft lavender pink flowers at the ends from mid to late summer. Grows best with light afternoon shade in the South and dry to medium well-drained soils. When crushed the foliage smells like onion.
