Monrovia® Kitty Hawk Hydrangea is a compact reblooming deciduous shrub with serrated dark green leaves. Its abundant large-flowered mophead panicles of star-shaped flowers bloom throughout summer with color that depends on the soil PH - light blue or purple in acidic soils, and light pink tones in alkaline soils- attracting butterflies and pollinators. Best bloom in partial sun and rich, moist well-drained soils. The Seaside Serenade series is a Monrovia exclusive that has longer lasting blooms and extra sturdy stems, and resists sun scorching.
