Hardy Ice Plant is a vigorous evergreen succulent that makes an excellent groundcover. Hardy Ice Plant gets its common name from its foliage’s appearance, which has transparent flakes that resemble ice on its fleshy leaves. Vibrant red-purple flowers bloom in late summer. Needs full sun and dry, sharply-drained soils. Heat and drought tolerant.
