Amistad Salvia is a compact upright clumping herbaceous perennial with full light green foliage.  Tall spikes with tiny two-lipped dark purple flowers with near black calyx bloom from mid spring until frost attracting butterflies and hummingbirds.  Flowers best in full sun and moist well-drained soils.  Drought tolerant once established.
