Fat Albert Blue Spruce is a slow-growing native conifer shrub with a dense upright swinging branching forming a pyramidal habit. Its stiff steel blue needles hold their color in winter. Prefers full sun and rich, moist well-drained acidic soils. Drought tolerant once established.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance plant. Susceptible to needle cast, rust, and cytospora canker. Watch for aphids, scale, bagworms and budworms. Spider mites infestations can severally damage new growth.
