Compact Hinoki Cypress is a very slow growing evergreen conifer shrub with a pyramidal habit and low branching. Its dense, flat splays of scale like foliage stays rich green year round. Prefers full sun and moist well-drained soil. It will only reach 6-8' height in 10 years.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Water regularly but needs well-drained soil. Juniper blight, root rot, and certain insect pests can be issues if soil to wet. Shelter from hard winds. In southern climates, young plants may burn with direct afternoon sun.
