Crimson Sentry Norway Maple is a beautiful slow-growing deciduous tree with a very dense and narrow upright habit that is columnar when young and opens to oval as it matures. Its palmate foliage emerges bright red and matures to rich deep maroon-purple that holds well through summer before turning bright crimson for fall. Grows best in moist well-drained soils. Crimson Sentry is tolerant of strong winds, urban conditions, drought, and salt.
