String Of Hearts is a trailing evergreen succulent plant with delicate marbled heart-shaped foliage on thin vines. The distinct vase-like flowers bloom mostly in summer and fall. Best foliage color in bright direct light and dry to medium well-drained soils.

MAINTENANCE: Low maintenance. Allow the soil to be dry 2/3 of the way down in the pot between watering. In winter months allow soil to dry completely between watering. fertilizer sparingly- once a month only during spring and summer.
PLANT NERD TIPS: If you notice brown spots on the column it is a sign its fighting a pest infestation. If noticed remove the unhealthy parts using a sterilized knife, then provide the plant with neem oil or insecticidal soap until the infestation is gone.
How to know if underwatering: String of Hearts stores it water in its leaves, so watch if they begin to deflate or look soft or withered.
Overwatering shows with yellowing and/or leaf loss. Be careful not overwater- String of Hearts is sensitive to overwatering and root rot. When in doubt, let it drought.
