French Vanilla Hibiscus is a vigorous woody perennial with a mounding habit and hardy upright stems and lobed deep green foliage with hairy undersides. The huge, lightly ruffled creamy yellow to white flowers with a dark red center bloom throughout summer into fall attracting butterflies. The flower color is temperature dependent- yellow in cooler conditions, and white in warm conditions. Best bloom in full sun and moist well-drained soils. The Summerific series blooms all long the stems instead of just at the stem ends like most older hibiscus varieties.
