Gulf Stream Heavenly Bamboo is a compact evergreen shrub with continuously changing foliage. The dense bamboo like foliage emerges scarlet red before maturing to blue green and slowly shifts from yellow tints to red in winter. The leaves and berries are highly toxic to animals. Best planted in part sun with rich, moist well-drained soils.
