Green and Gold is a mat forming evergreen perennial and toothed bright green foliage. The star shaped bright yellow flowers bloom heavily in spring and lightly in summer, and may experience another light bloom in fall. Best bloom in dappled sun and moist acidic well-drained soils.
Chrysogonum virginianum attracts various bees and butterflies, and provides habitat for small animals and songbirds.
