Monrovia® Western Star Gemini Shasta Daisy is a fast-growing perennial with a dense mounding habit. Its coarse, leathery dark green foliage is topped with large buttery light yellow daisy-like flowers with thick gold centers on that bloom from spring through summer. Regular deadheading can extend the bloom into fall. Prefers full sun and moist well-drained soil.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Pinch back stems as needed to control height. Cut back to 6" after flowering and mulch. Aphids, thrips and spider mites may cause significant damage. Potential disease problems include Botrytis, leaf spots, rust, powdery mildew, stem and root rots, verticillium wilt, aster yellows, and viruses.
