Grand Purple Lavender is a compact woody evergreen perennial with highly aromatic grey-green leaves. The stems end with thick flowerheads with small deep purple buds and large upright purple tinted petals on top resembling butterfly wings bloom in heavily in spring and lightly in summer. Grows best in full sun and dry to medium well drained alkaline soils.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Well drained soils is essential to prevent root rot- mulch with rocks to combat high humidity. Susceptible to leaf and root rot. Deadheading will promote continued blooms. Toxic to pets.
