Double Dynamite Crape Myrtle is an upright deciduous shrub with exfoliating bark. The new growth emerges deep purple and matures to dark purple-green. The profusion of large, ruffled panicles that open bright pink and quickly intensify to cherry-red panicles bloom on new wood throughout summer. Best color in full sun and rich well-drained soil. The Play It Again series are sterile and continuously blooming.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Water Regularly. Prune back in spring before bloom to promote flowers. It can be susceptible to leaf spot and powdery mildew. Watch for aphids and scale.
