Romeo Cleyera is a broadleaf evergreen shrub with a dense upright habit and variegated foliage. The dark green foliage has a buttery yellow to gold edging and earns a rosy pink hue from fall through winter. Its fragrant downward-facing clusters of white flowers bloom in late spring followed by shiny black fruit. Grows best with part sun and moist, well-drained soil. Romeo is disease and pest resistant.
