First Choice Bluebeard is a compact mounding deciduous shrub with tight aromatic grey green lace shaped foliage. Profuse clusters of fragrant extra deep purplish blue flowers bloom on new wood from summer into fall. Flowers best in full sun and loamy well-drained soils. Tolerates drought and heat.
