Southern Lady Pieris is a dense upright evergreen shrub with red-colored new growth that matures to a glossy dark green.  The drooping clusters of flower buds emerge in summer and persist through winter before finally blooming ivory white in the spring.  Best bloom in part sun with slightly acidic and moist well-drained soils. Southern Lady is leaf spot resistant.
