Emerald Cascade Evergreen Distylium is a compact evergreen shrub with a mounded habit with layered branching that creates a cascading effect. The foliage emerges plum and shifts to copper before maturing to deep blue-green. The small red-maroon flowers bloom on arching stems in winter and early spring attracting butterflies and pollinators. Grows best in full sun and slightly acidic, moist well-drained soil. Tolerates drought and wet soils.
