American Beautyberry is a loose open native deciduous shrub valued for its fruits. The mild green foliage has no fall color. Clusters of tiny light pink flowers bloom in summer attracting bees and butterflies, then give way to bursts of bright magenta fruits. Best foliage color in full sun, but some shade promotes drought tolerance.
