Periwinkle is a spreading evergreen herbaceous perennial with smooth upright stems and rich green foliage. Solidary pale lavender blue flowers bloom in late spring into summer, and intermittently from summer into fall. Grows best with part shade and moist rich well-drained soils. Can tolerate to near full shade and drought.
NOTE: Once established will grow aggressively- Listed as invasive in Georgia.
