San Jose Tea Olive is a large fast-growing evergreen shrub with an upright bushy habit. Its dark green holly-like foliage is narrower with finer spines than the standard and earns smooth margins as it matures. The delightfully fragrant creamy white flowers that smell like sweet apricots bloom in clusters along stems from fall to early winter. Best planted in part sun with acidic rich and moist well-drained soils. Drought tolerant once established.
