Snowdrift Evergreen Clematis is a showy evergreen climbing vine with a cascading habit and long drooping dark green foliage. The strongly fragrant star-shaped flowers are pure white and bloom in clusters on old wood in early spring. Prefers full sun and cool roots with moist, well-drained soil. Needs support. Snowdrift is pest resistant. NOTE: the leaves and sap are highly toxic to humans and pets if ingested.

Potential insect pests include aphids, vine weevils, slugs/snails, scale and earwigs. Watch for spider mites. If possible, plant the roots in the area with afternoon shade and climb the foliage into full sun for best results. Can cause rashes on contact for some: handle with gloves.
