Blue Dart Rush is a small native grass-like wetland perennial with tightly upright blue to blue-green cylindrical stems, and foliage that has been reduced to bladeless basal sheathes that turn brown with frost. The flowers and seedpods are inconspicuous. Best in full sun and moist to wet well-drained soils.
