Sunburst St John's Wort is a compact semi-evergreen shrub with blue-green lance-shaped leaves and exfoliating bark on mature plants. The small yellow flowers with numerous long stamen bloom in summer and are followed by narrow red-brown fruit capsules that persist in winter. Best bloom in full sun and well-drained soils.
