Anouk Dark Purple Lavender is a compact woody evergreen perennial with highly aromatic green leaves. The flowering stems end in thick purple flowerheads with few small purple flowers and large upright dark purple petals on top resembling butterfly wings bloom from throughout summer. Can bloom into winter in the deep south Grows best in full sun and dry to medium well drained alkaline soils. Incredibly drought resistant.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Well drained soils is essential to prevent root rot- mulch with rocks to combat high humidity. Susceptible to leaf and root rot. Deadheading will promote continued blooms. Toxic to pets.
