Nelly Moser Clematis is a deciduous climbing perennial vine with light green foliage that blooms first both old then again on new wood. The pale pink flowers have a deep reddish pink center stripe and purple tipped anthers bloom first in late spring then in mid summer. Prefers full sun and moist well-drained soil. Needs support.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Susceptible to wilt and stem rot, which can be fatal. Other potential diseases include powdery mildew, leaf spots, and rust. Potential insect pests include aphids, vine weevils, slugs/snails, scale and earwigs. Watch for spider mites. If possible, plant the roots in the area with afternoon shade and climb the foliage into full sun for best results.
