Little Champ Distylium is a dwarf evergreen shrub with a tidy spreading habit with layered branching and glossy rich green foliage. The small red-maroon flowers bloom on arching stems in winter and early spring attracting butterflies and pollinators. Grows best in full sun and slightly acidic, moist well-drained soil. Tolerates drought and wet soils. Little Champ has improved disease resistance.
