Monrovia® Seaside Swirl Pink Rugosa Rose is a compact thorny deciduous shrub with serrated deep green foliage that turns yellow in fall. The abundant blooms of intensely fragrant, pink crepe paper like flowers and appear mid spring to mid fall, and are followed by orange rosehips. Best grown in full sun and rich, moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils. Seaside Swirl is noted for excellent disease resistance and salt tolerance.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Medium Maintenance. Roses are susceptible to powdery mildew, black spot, rust, and rose rosette and require regular fungicide in humid areas that experience a lot of rainfall. Pest issues include aphids, borers, scale, mites thrips, midges, and leafhoppers. Rugosa is suckering and will form dense colonies unless restrained.
