Monrovia® Big Easy Hydrangea is a fast-growing compact deciduous shrub with a tidy habit and oversized flower clusters.  The laceap flower clusters' open green and mature to a color depends on the PH of the soil- in acidic soils they will be purple tones while in alkaline they will be pink- before fading to green again as it ages.  Its a repeat bloomer with the first bloom on old wood in early summer and quickly reblooms again later in summer on new wood.  Best bloom in partial sun and rich, moist well-drained soils.  The Lets Dance series has an early rebloom, improved hardiness, and tightly compact habit.
