Tufted Hair Grass is a clump-forming cool-season grass with fine narrow arching semi-evergreen foliage. Airy panicles of tiny flowers with varied colors of purple, gold, silver, and green mature to tan and bloom in summer and stay until the first frost. Prefers partial shade and moist, well-drained soil.
