Verdonii Hinoki Cypress is a dwarf non-flowering evergreen conifer shrub with a loose, naturally irregular, pyramidal habit. Its scale-like new growth is bright chartreuse and droop slightly at the end, and turns to yellow or orange-bronze in winter. The small cones are green-brown if female or orange-brown if male. Prefers full sun and moist well-drained soil. Verdonii has burn-resistant foliage.
