Furman's Red Autumn Sage is a reblooming native herbaceous perennial with an airy upright habit and aromatic medium green foliage.  Tall spikes with tiny two-lipped magenta red flowers with dark calyx bloom from first in spring and again in fall attracting butterflies and hummingbirds.  Flowers best in full sun and moist well-drained soils.  Very drought tolerant once established.
