Don't Forget To Add These for Your Plants:

**Dormancy Note - This plant is currently dormant for the winter! It is available for purchase! Your delivered plant may be dormant, or showing very little top growth. However, you can still plant! These plants are putting all their energy into root production, so they will be ready to thrive in the spring! If you have any issues with your plant the following peak season, you can fill out our return request form to request a replacement plant.

This cultivar typically grows to a height of 20 to 25 feet (6 to 7.6 meters) with a spread of 15 feet (4.6 to 6 meters). It has a rounded shape and its heart-shaped leaves emerge as a vibrant red-orange color in spring, resembling flames. As the season progresses, the foliage transitions to a deep maroon shade, creating a striking visual display.

In addition to its exceptional foliage, the Flame Thrower® Redbud also produces clusters of small, pink to purple flowers in early spring. These flowers add an extra layer of beauty to the tree and attract pollinators like bees and butterflies.

This cultivar thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers well-draining soil. It is relatively low-maintenance and can adapt to various soil conditions. Regular watering is important, especially during dry periods, to ensure its health and vigor.
